DU Admission 2026-27

DU admission for the academic session 2026-27 is expected to begin soon. The university offers various UG and PG courses through the common entrance tests conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Courses like BA, BCom, MA, MCom, and MSc are offered across multiple colleges. DU has two major campuses: the North Campus and the South Campus.

North Campus includes colleges like Hindu College, Hansraj College, and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), while South Campus includes colleges like Sri Venkateswara College, and Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), among others. The duration of UG courses is generally 3–4 years, while PG courses usually take 2 years (depending on the program). Fellowship programs may also be available as per university norms.

DU Admission Eligibility Criteria For The UG Courses

The common minimum eligibility for UG admission in 2026-27 is that candidates must have passed Class 10+2 from a single recognized board (or an equivalent qualification). For admission eligibility, the marksheet from the main board will be considered. For example, if a candidate has appeared in the CBSE board examination but later passed one subject from another board, the primary board marksheet (CBSE) will be considered for eligibility.

There are also program-specific eligibility criteria. Students must appear for CUET-UG 2026 in subjects relevant to their Class 10+2 subjects and the course requirements. Students are advised to check the official website for the latest subject selection and eligibility rules.

DU Admission Eligibility Criteria For The PG Courses

For PG admissions, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Reserved category candidates usually get eligibility relaxations as per university rules. Admission to many PG programs at Delhi University is done through CUET-PG and/or as per the university’s published admission criteria. Candidates appearing in the final semester/year of their qualifying exam may also be eligible to apply, as per the official notification.

DU Admission Fee Structure

DU has different fee structures for different courses, while registration charges are announced through the official admission notification. Candidates must check the latest CSAS (UG/PG) bulletin/notification for updated registration fees, additional charges (if applicable), and payment rules. The online application is considered completed only after successful fee payment.
